The beach is my happy place. I love to sit and watch the tide roll in. The sand, sun, and salt air are good for my soul.
I have four young kiddos and snack at the beach is a struggle. It always takes at least two hours to get sunscreen on, snacks packed, toys, towels and everything in between ready for our beach day. And of course once all of that was finally ready and we were out the door, someone will need to take a last minute potty break.
All morning the kids hurried me to get to the beach. Once we arrived, we promptly unloaded the car and noticed the red flag was up. This meant the waves were gonna be rough. Splashing around in “red flag” waves is exhausting, and we all know tired kids can equal hungry kids. Well, not ten minutes in the water, and sure enough, one by one, they came in saying they were hungry. To be honest, it seems my babies are always hungry, even five minutes after we arrive! I blame the sun 🤣

These are some of our go-to snacks that work for us. I love to pack these for the beach in particular because they seem to be “sandy hand” proof!
